The iPhone is the most important product for Apple, if you look at the sales figures. But demand is sinking noticeably. Does the new model manage to renew the old hype? We introduce some rumors about the iPhone 7 .

The release of the new iPhone will traditionally be back in the fall. The smartphone accounts for 60 percent of the business and therefore Apple may want to surprise this year with major changes. The design will probably change fundamentally, which can be concluded from the fact that Apple has "played" the design every two years so far. However, it is unlikely that the size of the device will change compared to its predecessor.

One of the hottest rumors is that Apple will completely abandon the homebutton this year. Any control of the smartphone would then take place via 3D touch sensors on the screen. To unlock the iPhone then probably the fingerprint scanner is placed there. This would give the display much more space.

Big changes to the display itself are not expected. However, as with any new iPhone, the processor will be a bit better than its predecessor.

Even the classic headphone jack should disappear. Instead, music should be output via the Lightning port on the bottom of the smartphone. Headphones could then be used only with the appropriate adapter. If the headphone jack disappears, the possibility would be there to make the new iPhone 7 completely waterproof.

And not only that! If this were the case, the Lightning ports would often be blocked by headphones, which means you can not charge and listen to music at the same time. You would need an alternative charging technology and what is better than wireless charging ? Apple could finally make the leap into the world of wireless charging and you would not need any more cases, but you can easily put your iPhone on a FluxPort to charge it. We'll have to wait until autumn before Apple tells us if these rumors are true.
